The Bancroft family expects to decide by the end of the week whether or not to sell Dow Jones (
DJ) to News Corp. (
NWS), a key family member said Monday afternoon, according to
Reuters.
“We’re still undecided,” Christopher Bancroft told reporters at the hotel where the family was meeting to mull the offer. “Everyone has to decide for himself.”
Dow Jones shares, which fell 31 cents in Monday’s regular session, were down another 34 cents in after hours trading, to $54.35. As noted earlier, the stock has declined for 8 days in a row.
